Bottom Tier- Carrot Cake with Traditional Buttercream Middle and Top Tiers- Chocolate Cake with TraditionalButtercream. All layers encased in Marshmallow Fondant. The playing cards, dice and card suits are made with candy meltchocolates.
*This is our first ever topsy turvy cake. More labor intensive than a traditional cake, that's for sure! But all in all, we are pleased with the end result.

The treasure chest was created by molding rice cereal treats, covered and decorated with fondant. The cake is surrounded by crushed graham crackers and gum paste jewels and pearls.

* The cake toppers where styled after the bride and groom to-be. This cake was served at the rehearsal dinner the night before The Big Day.

~ Cereal Treats molded into the shape of a Deer Rear iced in Vanilla Frosting covered with Cinnamon Grahams and White Coconut Flakes
*The final product was mounted on a brownie placard with the scripting "Happy Birthday To Your Old Ass!" This specialty cake was made for a crossbow hunter's birthday.
Our initial interest in cake decorating lead us to take a class in beginning cake decorations. This included the forming and shaping of cakes, icing and decorating with icing using traditional methods.
